Ok so finally after two weeks of calling every single day I got a straight answer today from a very nice lady in USICS...

My case is not being processed and its because my husband already had a SS# (or so she thinks thats the reason)

He had one from last trip to the states. Aparently the last person i talked to lied to me stated I was in additional processing. This very nice lady took my cell phone number and then stated she would call me back after she had more information and spoke to her supervisor. I do not know if its a good or a bad thing but at least this lady was nice and didnt give me the whole it hasnt be 6 months dont call back for 4 weeks line.

Ok done ranting... I guess i will go back to actual work so that I can keep my mind off of the joys of the immigration process.

i know of one other case where the spouse had a ssn and it took them a while to approve their petition but i'm not sure if it was as a result of their slowness or the ssn

As to why I have been sitting on a desk for ummmmmm since May I don’t know...

Additional pain is all good just to know that my file is somewhere is good. The fact that she knew my husband did have a social tells me that at least I am not speaking to cust service nimron who has no clue.

Brunz.... you should see me at my job, customers love me....

Today as a passenger was getting onboard a flight he called me a suck up .... I warned him I have the authority to pull you off this aircraft.... and took half of his boarding pass.. After the flight was done and everyone onboard I walked onto the plane touched his arm and said sir I need to see your boarding pass.... "Why”? "You are not going on this flight please come with me" his eyes got so big. I started laughing and handed him two drink coupons (have one on us good for a drink or snack). I thought he was going to pee himself.

I get to much enjoyment out of life... but the passenger today was fun to play with.... you have to find the small things in life that make you happy and run with them.

Now if we can interview in Oct I will be happy. I want him here for Thanksgiving. I want a old fasioned Thanksgiving. Been a very long time since I had one in this house.

No he didnt overstay. He did however extend the while in the states he used an attorney and made copies of all his paperwork as well as his i94s. The boy is a paperwork pack rat thank god. So maybe it is the extension that they are looking into ... I D K ... as long as i know someone is looking into it.

I cant believe it... No i can actually you have been ready for NVC for how long a year... haha girl i love you.

I will tell you when i get a call i expect she said monday ... i wont hear anything until next friday

I work for Delta/Northwest in Tulsa ok now. I got an upgrade from Lead to Supervisor. I did think the poor guy would pee himself. I am a great agent not going to lie I mean I take care of my passengers. They leave Tulsa happy 85 % of the time. Somethings like bad weather I cant fix ...

I am ready to hop on an airplane i miss my husband... when are you going to paris ... are you going to put it off until interview or still sep ?

Hey Courtney we have only been in AP for 2 weeks and 1 day but it feels like and eternity. I guess the only good part is they DID keep his passport so obviously they don't think it's going to be an extensive AP.

Well I pray I see him in October for a interview, NOW God Forbids we are delayed and interview wont be till after Nov. 6th he has to return to Algeria for interview, so I will go to Paris in Oct to see him and give him paperwork for just in case I cant get to Algeria. I have to apply for a visa and that there is more delays, but I will deal with the Algerian consulate in Washington, DC but I do have a contact there. I understand can take 2 weeks for a visa but first I have to set interview in Algeria then buy plane tickets to Paris/Algeria, then send all to Algerian consulate in DC and apply for a tourist visa, its easier then a family visit, more red tap to a Family Visit visa.

I plan to be there long enough for 2 days before interview, interview day, stay one more day, then my butt back to Paris for a few days.

Hate to be in Paris alone, but I would like to say good bye to Paris, probely my last trip there. UGh always some #######!!!!!

At this point all I can do is harrass the DOS and I do that several times a week. I miss him so much! It has been almost 7 months since I've seen him.
