HELP! Where does the medical exam form in the visa packet go after you enter the U.S.?

My husband entered the U.S. in March with a K-3 visa. He had the visa medical exam done in Morocco before he left, and he never saw the actual form from the doctor - it was sent directly to the consulate in Casablanca. When he got his visa, the consulate gave him the "do-not-open" packet and they have since said that the medical form was in that packet. Of course, he didn't open it, and he gave it over to CBP officers in New York when he entered the U.S.

Now, we have been to our AOS interview and were approved, pending getting them a signed USCIS version of that medical form (our interviewing officer said that she didn't have any medical records in his file). But, my husband has spent two weeks going from doctor to doctor getting tests and shots and now they have told him that he still needs to have an HIV and TB test before the doctor will sign the USCIS form. He knows he had those tests in Morocco, and the doctor here has said that a faxed version of his visa medical exam form would be OK.

Where did that medical exam form go after he entered the U.S.? And how can I get ahold of someone just to fax a copy of it to our doctor???

Normally it goes to USCIS and is put together with your file when you submit the AOS. They lost it. It happens. We see it here often enough in posts. As with anything in theis process, it is YOUR problem and the medical exam will have to be repeated here by a Civil Surgeon unless they can find it.

If the clinic in Morroco kept anything you can call them directly, just as you did to set up the appointment

Worst case scenario, get a new medical exam and not waste time searching for a medical exam that probably has been lost. They charged me $250 chash only, and have those results faxed with all the information, (if possible) before your case gets denied for not having the medical exam.

easier just to have the medical redone, after nine months of waiting after filing for AOS we were informed his medical had been done on an outdated form. Had a new one day, day after they received it his greencard is on the way.

Lot of problems with USCIS losing things, taking their time, blaming their faults on you, etc.

Just redo the medical and get on with it.
