prepping our papers for 1-751

Well hopefully by Monday or tuesday we will send out our i-751 packet

heres what we have so far for evidence:

signed notarized affidavit from my dad

bank statements with hubby listed and i am listed as joint owner /beneficiary from2007 until present

telephone bill from 2007 until present with our names on the bill(we cut off this phone last month we switched to cellphones)

electric bill with our names on it from 2007 until present

copies of joint /authorized user credit cards same account # (I think we have 2 or three accounts like this)

health care coverage cards 2007-2008 and 2008 thru 2009 same number, etc

we dont own a home and dont have a rental agreement or lease and car insurance is in my name only .

I only have one affidavit so far because my next door neighbor bailed out; she moved to florida 2 days ago . she was supposed to do it and be my second affidavit , so now we are working on one from my hubbys friend..

Looks good - you spanned the entire term of the marriage/green card, so that's great. They only other thing I would suggest is your tax transcripts for last two years. Even if you didn't file jointly, it should show your status as married.

About all I could think of:

• Tax return/transcript (mentioned earlier)
• Life Insurance
• Cell Phone bill (if not part of earlier mentioned telephone bill)
• Couple/Few Photos

  Is it safe to assume you live with your father? (Since you don't have a lease/mortgage.)

In addition to what others have suggested, perhaps a copy of you & spouse's Drivers Licenses showing same address?

thsnks for your inputs , Yeah I got the tax returns and transcripts married filing jointly...I also will inlcude a lot of pictures too, we actually rent a one bedroom cottage on a month to month basis so we dont have any type of agreement or lease ....my landlords are weird so I feel weird asking them....but anyway I hope I will have enough evidence! thanks to all of you! I751 directions only ask for photocopy of your past 2 years state and local tax return, which would be the 1040s signed by you and spouse, not tax transcripts(those were recommended or required during the 2 yr GC application when proving a spouse was sponsoring the PR financially on the affadavit of support).

Exactly what the instructions say:

"Financial records showing joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savings and checking accounts, joint federal and state tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse as the beneficiary, joint utility bills, joint installments or other loans."

Transcript(s) are perfectly fine.
