How Stella Got Her Groove Back comes on in an hour on Lifetime.

---

Which reminds me. The other day someone called me Stella. I said 1) I didn't need to get my groove back because I never lost it and 2) I'm not old enough to be a Stella. The person claimed that Stella stands for any woman who has a relationship with a Jamaican. I disagree.

me too girl ... its funny how people think... i laugh and say stella didnt have to go through the journey of a visa

now this made me laugh out loud

Thanks My2 - about to sign off and go to bed, see you all next week!

Bye Sus have a great trip ( I'm all late as usual) LOL

Nat who won Rising Star?

We'll find out Friday night during the 1.5 hr results show. After the show, the contestants are putting on a concert in Kingston. I wish I could go.

Nat I am excited can't wait to see what happens, ( biting my nails for Tia)

Mornin'...thanks for all the "get betters"... Ms Sheka, I feel for your kids. I can't seem to kick this cold!

I am taking some major vitamins, echinacea and using that neti pot! Sometimes I can breath and sometimes I can't. I can't hear either!

Hope everyone is doing well today!! :)

Glad you are feeling better Irie, I am getting my Neti Pot today!

**Warning** Pure rant ahead.

So at work we recently switched from logging in with an id & password to using a Smart Card. You put the card in a slot in the computer & enter a pin to log in. At home, we were given a smart card reader to plug into our home PCs.

Last night was my first time logging in from home with my smart card, as I needed to chat with some co-workers in Europe/AP. It didn't work. I called the help desk (in Malaysia) around 8:15pm and after 30 minutes of trying stuff with no success, the analyst said I need to go into "dual mode" and be given a password to log in. Someone was going to call me back to give me the password. 2 hours passed. No call back. I called them and again the analyst told me that he didn't have the ability to give me a password & I'd get a call. No one called me until 11:15pm! Finally I was able to log on & do my work.

I thought I set my alarm for 7:am, but apparently I didn't turn it on. I woke up at 7:30 this morning, which gave me 30 minutes to get ready & get to work for our 8:AM team meeting.

I was making good time until I ended up behind Mr Timid Truck Driver. I was waiting behind him to make a left onto a 3-lane road. This man was waiting for EVERY lane to be open before turning left! I was like, you only need ONE lane! But he wasn't hearing me yelling through both of our windows. Finally (a good 2-3 minutes), this guy turns left, so I then could make my left turn.

I turn, JUST in time for the bars to go down for a passing train. Since I caught the beginning of this train, I got to wait for the entire thing to pass... about 5 minutes.

Finally I get to work & dialed in 6 minutes late for my meeting. But I needed to go to a Sametime website where my teammates (located around the world) can collaborate over one person's screen. However, I could not get to the company's internal intranet OR internet due to that smart card situation from the night before. The frustration continued. I ended up logging off & back on and then everything worked.

Fortunately I get a free massage at my dentist appointment in a couple of hours. I actually need it today.
