Steven also was not feeling the needles, which I FULLY understand. Then he REALLY wasn't feeling the full-body exam they give.

what kind of full body exam that

btw, since your fiance just did the medical and i know you are one for details

what exactly do they do?

it seems very intimidating based on the bad experiences of some yardies

See, I'm not sure if having twins make labor longer, but I plan on staying at home til I am soooo close to labor I cant wait anymore. I HATE docs and hospitals. They can be sooo rude and unnurturing that would stress me out. SO I am gonna labor in our hot tub for a few hours then go to the hospital. Its like 5 mins from my house.

Hi Marlita!!!!!!!!! Congrats on your little pickneys on the way! Twins does not neccesarily mean longer labor, however there are many more complications to worry about....i would imagine you may have to deliver in the OR "just in case".....once my water broke I started hard labor for about 15 minutes and then Patricj was ready to be here and Leighana was the ####### who took longest.....she was an hour and a half after her brother.....she flipped over and went breech after I delivered Patrick naturally....she was and emergency C-Section becasue of complications I was having which I would rather not go into details about and scare you.....Best of luck with your pregnancy chica and pray you have a better one than I did.....If you need anything please let me know.....I have a plethra of double things!

Wow. It took a LONG time to catch up.

Thanks for the VBAC explanation; I was wondering what that was, myself.

Hey Nat,

Anthony works our nerves and Hubby is always calling him Batty Fish dis and dat LOL. The judges can have their say but the votes and outcome are up to the people! How is the Princess doing is she nervous?, does this seem surreal now I can't imagine what the wait is doing to her!

No clue. Since they got down to the final few, the contestants are kept super busy.

Hi, Marlita.

Sus, I cracked up at the "chupid" comment. I've never heard the word pronounced like that, but it's hilarious.

That's precious. I love seeing married couples doing stuff together, especially old ones. Yesterday I passed this old couple at my apt complex. They were in the pool tossing a frisbee back & forth. They had to be in their 60s or later.

Oh no you didn't! Did you just call Finesse old???????

LOL While I have no clue what age Finesse is, I doubt she's in her 60s. Not with all that rooksin over the weekend.

Ouch! JAP you had the long cut...I told them to give me a tummy tuck while they were down there...

So this is an option?? When having a child you can also get a tummy tuck in the same sitting? That's awesome! First reason I've heard to actually have children.

finesse = 32.....or 31 mi cyaan memba

the dr i had w/ my second..the c section was SOOOO good.. he would wipe the sweat from my forehead.. held my hand, rub my hair.. nice young sexy latino.. reminded me of prince.. YES... i like the shorty's LOL..

how is ur ob/gyn lita.. if he is a good one, u won't have any problems!!!

damn, yuh sound like yuh had sex wid di man.....chat bout sooooooooo good

well him hand was .... LOL tap di nize ole ooman LOL.. i had never had such an experience w/ a dr.. like marlita said, even the nicest ones are sometimes very mechanical and distant.. i was very much pleased that he was so comforting..

:star: Hello Everyone,

Oh man, I have no idea what is going on here in VJ Yardie land. Not sure if many of the folks here even remember me. I wanted to come in an say hello....and catch up on the gossip of course, haha!!

Well here's my gossip. Evan and I are doing great. He's been here almost a YEAR this coming October. I CANNOT believe ho fast time flies. We are also expecting....twins!! We celebrated our first anniversary here last month and now we are preparing to be new parents. Not sure who else is in the VJ yardie wata but would love to hear about it.

I've been relaxing at home since being laid off back in Feb. Got a GREAT job offer last week, but had to decline it due to the twins on the way and not wanting to take up more than I can handle right now. So i am just looking for part time work. Evan's been working since Jan and is also looking for something better so thats helped us out alot. Other than that, I am usually home and BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!! How are you ladies!!??

This is so crazy. I just read your blog today and I just told the ladies you were expecting twins and you were excited. I have twins myself a boy and girl and to see you so happy I was like umm am I the only one who cried when she heard she was having twins? I see they are a blessing now (sort of ) but when I first got the news I told there dr to get another dr because she didn't know what she was looking at.

I followed your journey whether you knew it or not didn't we Quana? We used to stalk her blog site.. It's so nice to see your journey worked out GREAT for you!!!

Oh my gosh were the twins hard for you? I am seriously calm about it, and I guess I am odd in that way cus I hear alot of people do freak out. But for some reason having twins seems more normal for me than if I was to have only 1. My grandmother told me I was going to have twins over a year ago....like she had a prophecy and so from then on I was like "OK". And like a week before I knew I was pregnant my mom was praying for me and said that God told her I would have twins. I was like "OK". So when I had the ultrasound at like 7 weeks and they saw 2 sacs instantly I was like...."well there's the twins!!" It wasnt even a surprise, but like a confirmation.

Yes the twins were hard for me. It was hard carrying them. There butts were heavy. I think there birth weights were 5’9 and 6’3 so and then I carried them38 weeks. I thought they would never come out. My twins are day and night they look or act NOTHING alike. Feeding them was hard because they were on difference schedules and my hubby at the time worked nights so I was stuck by myself. I really wanted them to be the same sex so I could dress them alike but oh well such is life.

NAT the medical exam is not that bad...my husband was totally naked and he didn't care that much, it was the nurse that kept staring at him that made him sick. He kept asking her if she was okay, until she got up and left the room. The doctor then walked in and asked why she didn't give him something to cover up with. The doctor wasn't with him that long and he was out of there. Tell you fiance to make sure he eats something before the exam.

Hey Marlita...this is jgay80...changed my screen name....so glad to hear from you....so happy you are having twins too...as you can see I'm having a little girl...glad things are going good between you and Evan...Me and hubby are good...still have our ups and downs...but we get through them...would love to be home and bored.... :star: ...i can't wait to start my maternity leave...I stop working Sept 25th....Our anniversary is coming up this Sept 30th....hubby said he had a surprise for me... ....

Jgay!!! Girl I was like ho in the heck is this, til you said u changed ur name. I came on here long ago and saw u were expecting. It was before I was. Congrats to you and your husband. I didnt know u had a son. As far as the C-Section thing.....lawd dont get me started. I have been searching high and low for a doc that wont try to force that on me. If I could home birth I would....trust me. But alas, not with the twins. So I am hoping my experience will be safe and well. Gotta keep praying about that one. Oh and as far as the ups and downs.....oh me and Evan have ours too. I should let him post in the blog about how I drive him literally insane sometimes and the cussing and fussing that we can do. Its all about of marriage, haha.

I had my babies V. They were 15 minutes apart.

i didn't have any other kids afterwards... do they say its risky to do it vaginally after a c section???

No. I used to work in a gyno office. Women do it all the time.

Wow you went from a gyno office to a church. I guess you got tired of looking at all de pums and wanted to pray for them huh??
