I just couldnt see going through this process all over again and being separated again for another 6 months to a year. Not to mention that as long as she refuses to let us have joint custody, this will always be an issue for us. We are having so much fun enjoying each other though...we have shared so much in this short amount of time...lots and lots of emotion...tears...confessions of love throughout...

He cried talking to a pastor telling her that he loved me with everything in him...but it was too much going on back in Jamaica. He was trembling and squeezing my hand as he talked. With all his confessions of love, I have never felt more loved by him than in that moment. The moment was so real and so touching. BTW...that night touched the pastor so much and renewed her faith in couples trusting God...that she asked to do our ceremony for free, or whatever I could afford to give her. So, we will be getting married at our home...no decorations...no frills...just us and the people that love us and want the best for us. We will do Savannah or the beach at a later date...I still don't think I can manage the long distance ride from the pain I'm in at work.

I'm ready...he is ready. My BIL just asked me if I wanted to be double happy and marry him too. LOL...he said that he can't believe how happy I have made his brother. His brother is really upset that he couldn't be here for the wedding to be A's best man. But money nuh run right now. We talk everyday on the phone with him...and he always sounds so excited for us...especially when he finds out what I cooked for the day/night. He is like man brother it's like you never left yard. I'm going to try to fly him up sometime at the end of January or early February to come visit.

OH Jawi as always your journey touches my heart I am so happy for the both of you!!!! thanks so much for sharing your journey with us ( I can't wait to see the wedding pics)

We only shot one. Well, I didn't shoot any birds at all. We only saw 3 and got one. I did shoot my first shot gun. Nearly lost my teeth on the kick. It was fun to just sit around in the weeds and chat for hours. Except when he picked up the stupid dead bird and threw it in my lap. I flipped my chair backwards trying to get away. Damn men!

I just taped the tail feathers around the computer screen of the gal I share an office with She gets in here in a few minutes and is going to freak out. I hope I don't pee my pants laughing.

She walked in all smiles and saw the feathers from the back of the computer screen. Thought it was some indian headdress. Then she realized what it was she opened her mouth in some big "O" and said you are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EVIL. Get them off. Get them off. I was rolling.

my 2, my oldest first time on the bus was 2 weeks ago, i know just how u feel.. i know he will feel so much like a big boy!!!

well it was raining and the bus stop is a little walk from our house so i drove to the bus stop so he wouldnt get all wet... tthe bus shows up the tell me he rides another bus so i get him on the right bus ..... he stands at the top of the steps and says mom what do i do now. I tell him find a seat he said ok bye ...But i followed the bus to school i couldnt help it .... and cried all the way there..

Ha this brings back memories of my mom. I used to have to walk from school to my baby sitters house when I was growing up. My mom was so afraid I wouldn’t get it right so she made me practice the walk. I would walk in front and she would walk behind me as if I was by myself. I felt so goofy.

it is hard last year him and his sister went to the same school and walked to my moms house now they both changed school.. and neither rode a bus to school ..so i was nervous...

You can't just shoot anything you want here. I do live in the city. It ain't the wild west!

Do you know what washers are? Probably not. I think it's sort of a St. Louis thing. You have these 2 wooden boxes set a set amount of feet apart. Not sure how far exactly. There is a cup in the middle. You take turns tossing washers (metal rings like 6 inches in diameter or something) into the boxes. 1 point for the box, 3 for the cup. Some cancel the others out. Its really fun and not at all complicated. Play to 15 or 21. We had double elimination yesterday. And LOTS of beer.

I swear I m so tired today. I tell you getting four kids ready for school each morning is really quite exhausting to say the least.

I went on Marlita's blog and I see her and Evan are expecting twins. She is so happy. I tell you am I the only one who wasn’t excited with the news of having twins??? lol

Jawi-- I am so happy things are working out for you. I tell you god is so good isn’t he? I can't wait to hear you are a Mrs. The things you too have endured I truly believe you two were meant to be. Even though things might not always be a picnic it sounds like you and A have build a foundation that you will stand the test of time.
