DaDa had me cracking up with nearly every post, esp the rant about parents being too soft.

Bunz, thanks for thinking of me with the Mexican restaurant. I plan to be there from Sunday afternoon until Monday afternoon, so I'll miss the happy hour special.

Sunray, I'm perplexed to hear that you see so many buzzards. I don't think I've ever seen one except on tv.

Sus, lol @ "margaritas pre-interview" because the interview is at 9am! Doubt anywhere sells alcohol that early.

Ha ha......I used to sing clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere....clean up, clean up, everybody do your share....from Barney when my kids were little.

I LOVED Barney when I was in high school. I can hear him & crew singing that very song right now in my head... or I could pull out my iPod, cause it's on there.

I'm going to go find that, Nat. Thanks. Never even thought to look for that song. Someone said the free credit report songs too. Never thought.

I get that fascination. I was a huge Teletubbies fan for a long time.

Well, I read all of today's posts... took 40 minutes!

I'm eating spicy watermelon. It is SO DELICIOUS. Watermelon, lime juice, & cayenne pepper! My mouth is on FIRE! :dancing:

You make that yourself, Nat? Is there a method to making it?

WAIT....sumtin is wrong FINESSE naw chat

i am pissed off right now..

my son is the most difficult child in the world...

he rides the bus to school and discovered that his bus this year is one of those short busses (you know the one that everyone calls the retard bus) so now he is refusing to ride it...

yesterday he took his money and took the city bus to school..

today he wanted me to give him a ride and i said no because his school is out of the way and i would be late for work..

i told him he better take that short bus to school and shut up about it....i am not giving him any money to take the city bus either

as i was leaving he told me he hated me....

No he didn't!!! Did you turn around and sock him in the kisser???

thank you!! mi down wid the sitting w/ di pickney and chat bout dem feelings 100%, but mi wish him would talk crazy fi ME??? den me reason wid him?? no SAH!

i am the most nicest mami.. i don't blink at the eye rolling.. hey let kids be kids.. but dem nuh talk to me dutty like mi nuh try fi give dem di world!!! HELLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOO.. he can say it under his breath, even write in a letter, but NOT to my face..

im not just talking..im tested too, but im telling u, if u let them talk crazy, its not a guarantee that they will GROW out of it.. my 20 yr old brother called the police on my mom last week cuz she FINALLY wanna kick him and his SMART RASS TALKING SELF outta her house.. he told her she can't make him go nowhere w/out 6 mnth notice.. and yes he's still there!!! works and talk to her like she stupid.. chat bout she need fi cook and he ain't giving her no money, she just got paid, ray tay tay

she should have let him stay at my house when she was having problems years ago.. i put him out and i told him he couldn't come back till he learned how to talk to me.. my mom got upset cuz i put him on the street..came and picked him up

oh HI LADIES!!!!!!!!

O.k. so I'm not the only one I loved Barney in high school too. Shoot I also loved the woman who sang This is the song that never ends… Memeba she had sock puppets. I ran into an old boyfriend (not the one I'm dating) that reminded me how when I cut school I came up his house to watch Barney. Ha he thought I was cutting to give him some and here I was cutting to watch Barney. I guess that's why he never made any moves on me he must have known if she is watching Barney more than likely I'm getting no action. He was right!!! I think I knew all the Barney songs my favorite is If all the raindrops were jelly beans and gum drops oh what a rain that would be….Standing outside with my mouth open wide uh uh uh uh uh uh uh…Umm now that I think about it that would be song a fluffy girl would like wouldn't it???

My co-worker just yelled at me. Said she HATES that (freecreditreport.com) guy! Had to turn on Neil Diamond.

You make that yourself, Nat? Is there a method to making it?

Cut up the watermelon, sprinkle on a liberal dose of lime juice, sprinkle on as much cayenne pepper as you can handle! Shake the bowl before you eat/serve it, to redistribute the flavors.

I'm going to buy more cayenne pepper at lunchtime to make it hotter. I did some research the other day on cayenne pepper & found out it's very good for you. One site even recommended adding it to beverages like juice so that you can get more of it.

Again creative! You have to laugh (not in their face) but some of the stuff the youngsters come up with we would have NEVER even dreamed to do to our parents lol.. So YES they are creative, just need their energies challenged in a more productive way than forging signatures and swindling parents out of bus fare lol

One tip that I wanted to share my fellow VJ parents that I learned when my son had mobile therapy was when you punish them, don't tell them how long you are going to punish them for. And threaten if they keep asking you are going to make the punishment longer. See before I implemented this rule and gave him a punishment date/time, he would just ride it out and go back to the negative behavior. Not giving him a date, he wasn't sure how long his torture would be and it calmed him down from the negative behaviors... Just some friendly advice!

Good Morning All.....

Well today I was able to do my cheer that my kids look forward to hearing every year (they hate it)...

Give me a S--C--H---O---O----L. What does that spell Scholl School WE LOVE SCHOOL!!!

See every year on the first day of school the hell with the alarm clock I stand between my kids rooms and at the top of m lungs I do my cheer. I scare them shytless every time where they either jump or fall out of bed.

So I have two down and two to go My baby went to 8th grade today :crying: and my middle went to third. They both looked so adorable. I’ll have to post pics. Next week the twins going to Kindergarten.

Man I'm still shaking I can't believe 2morrow my baby turns a teenager. Ugh where did the time go I now yesterday when we went to orientation my son has regular voice but every time he spoke to the ladies his voice dropped down 2 levels. I looked at him like WTH?? He looked at me like mom please don't say anything.

I think I'm going to like his new school it gears to technology. I really hope he likes it but the curriculum looks harder so I have to get ready to stay on his butt. I noticed I really need to be involved in there studies more.

LOL Dada I hear you on the yelling between the kids room   I do a similar routine! I know you are so excited about the twins going to the Kindergarten, are they excited? My Oldest son also attends a HS for media and technology and they are so advanced in their curriculum and technology projects I am so excited about the opportunities this year!

dada.. i was gonna say u is dead wrong fa dat.. but i guess its the first day.. why NOT??? shoot mine are usually up hours b4 cuz they so excited.. they would come sing in MY room LOL..

did bill cosby do that on the cosby show????? lol
