HELP!!! Spending too much $ on phone bills...

So my fiance and I do the whole chat thing on MSN and use skype, and he can call me from I-call, butttt, I am getting overzealous with calling him.My cell phone charges me $1.95/min, and house phone charges .55/min. Anyone know a better way, either free or cheaper to call Morocco? Thank you so much for any help! :wacko:

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

If a card does not work well (not connecting or you can't hear well), just call their CS number, they will correct it immediately and get you a new card or pin number. I think they rock! :D:thumbs:

Are you going there soon to Morocco? If so, buy a magic jack and bring it with you in your luggage for him and all he has to do is plug it into his computer and call you for free. He can call anywhere in the US for free. ;)

Magicjack!!!! Nawal told me about this very cost saving gadget when I first joined VJ & we used it faithfully when he was still in Tunisia!

Hubby is here in NY with me now & is on a cell right now talking to his mom with the magicjack I sent him!!

Best investment you could make, honestly :thumbs:

Yes. Magic Jack comes with a US telephone number so you can call him for free (unless you pay long distance; most people don't), too.

get a Magic Jack and talk to him for free on a landline or cell phone. My husband bought one set up an Atlanta phone number on it and then sent it to his family in Morocco. They hooked it up to their computer and now they can call anytime to our house phone or to our cell phones. We can also call them and its just like calling across street or town, its a local number. All he needs is a computer with internet.
