Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards so it makes sense it calms us. I'm a nurse would I lie to you?:pop::innocent:

Hi everyone from beautiful Montana! My Visa diet has made me gain a few pounds actually. I need ice cream and chocolate apparently!!!!

I bet it is pretty there. It's on my bucket list! At least the college tour might distract you for a few hours. My son is a senior but thankfully has already decided to commute to a local school.

It's 5:40am and here I am craving chocolate and not a drop in the house! Diet hot cocoa here I come!

I had to start b/p meds too.I was told lose weight and you can stop. I've reduced my dose but still on the darn thins. I dont fancy a stroke so I'll be a good girl.

Good morning my fellow filers :star: back to the pharmacy for me BP today 149/104 :crying: ACUTE HYPERTENTION!!=POSSIBLE STROKE :(

Wow Ms. Sheka, please take care of yourself. That's scary. I hope the meds kick in fast.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Mornin everyone! Anyone got any good news today?

I keep remembering my nana saying a watched pot never boils but I am constantly watching and waiting. There must be a way for the government to sped up the process for married couples! I miss my husband. It's only been a week since our last visit but it really seems longer.

I keep reading about people who visit for 6 months, 3 months etc. How do they do it? How can anyone with a job take so much time off? I keep needing to work a few days while he is here just to stretch the days off through the end of the year!

This is shaping up to be a blue Monday. :crying: I just wnt a hug and I have to wait until Thanksgiving. Oh well at least I'll have something to be thankful for since my hubby and mum in law and my parents are coming! It is also keeping me busy trying to clean and organize!

Oh and it SNOWED last night!!! This is supposed to be autumn! Half the leaves haven't even changed yet for Pete's sake!

Don't get me wrong. I love the white fluffy stuff but not for driving and definitely not in October!

Hope you all have a good day. :star:
