Good morning my fellow filers i hope everyone's having a wonderful friday :dance: i am still awaiting word from CSC nothing yet but as i said i'm still in good spirits

We were so hoping you got your approval. It's coming soon!!

We have been having a great visit. I wish David wasnt going back Weds. It's flown by too quickly. We went to a movie, the Topsfield fair, King Richard's faire (where the "Sherrif" cited us for Public displays of affection and other disgusting acts! lol We got caught kissing in public at the renaissance faire)

We've spet time with the family and been out for meals and done just normal home repairs and sopping and cooking etc. It has been so nice to be together and we dont want it to end. I hope we get our number for NVC soon.We are stalled.

Hope you are all having a good day.

I know right but i'm just taking easy while CSC m0350.gifor t4105.gifbut anywho i know that feeling when i have to leave my hubby my son cries so i don't like to take the kids sometimes because then the whole family just bust out cryingt2316.gift2314.gift2309.gif ha ha.. but you all know that as soon as i get the news you will be the second to know (hubby first  )

it been quiet around here so i'm not the only CR1/IR1 from August and previous months waiting but i'll know when they wake up when i see some APPROVALS! hopefully mine too

Abbie, good seeing you here! I always worry when I read about the flooding, etc...

Yes, Mark's visiting his wife and having a great time I'm sure! Tomorrow will be a busy day at work for me too-though I'm going to somehow sneak some time to type up my 864!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

karinapogue and Finnlove

We just had our 3 month as well. We married July 8th! Our anniversay will be 7-8-09. Pretty easy to remember!

I'm just back from the airport after seeing my husband off. His flight left two minutes ago. I can barely see the screen because I keep getting all emotional. This process needs to be a lot faster!:cry::clock:

NVC stll has no record of us yet!! It's been two weeks!

We kept checking VJ to see if Ms Sheka got approved! I think I check for you like I checked for me! lol You are like the unofficial Visa journey cheerleader! :dancing:

Abbie glad to see you are ok. I was also concerned after hearing about the storms and flooding.

Since you guys are going through this now, can someone walk me through this like I'm a dense 6 year old? It's 5:47 am in India and I'm kind of glazing over the guides.

I am a little confused about the barcodes. Which forms have them and which don't? Can I download/print them off NOW and send it to my USC husband (along with everything else) so he can mail it straight to NVC when the time comes? Or do I have to wait for them to send me the forms with the barcodes on them? Is the payment cover sheet enough along with writing the case # on it?

Thanks for clearing this up.

Hi guys!! I'm back. I had a wonderful time, but it was just as hard as always to separate from her at the airport. That always leaves me bawling like a little baby (I really should try to be stronger for her, but it's like have my soul ripped from my body). Anyway, I am now officially at the NVC, so that makes me feel a bit better. Then I come over here for some more good news, and what do I find, but no approval for MsSheka!! #######!! Hey Finn! Let's road trip down to CSC and hover around the workers asking them all kinds of questions about why they're not working on MsSheka's case already. I'll pay for gas, if you swing by and pick up some Krispy Kremes :)
