GUYS IT IS SO QUIET TODAY :unsure: i hope this is a calm before an APPROVAL STORM :dance: i am so tired from painting the walls around the house my 2+yrs son decided he would redocorate the walls with crayons  it seem like he had a vison too he only used three colors (RED< BLUE<GREEN)p0111.gifmy hubby says i'm so sorry i'm not there because he is driving you

Oh Nooooo!!

My kid's school decorated when they were small by having the kids make handprints on primary colors on the wall. It looked cool. I wonder if it began after a kid tried it!

Sorry guys. I have been busy running around making last minute preparations before my trip down to Peru on Wednesday. Since I worked lots of overtime to use as comp time, I haven't had a whole bunch of time. And whatever time I did have, VJ seemed to suck away :)

This is your MsSheka. Don't you dare make me go to Peru without seeing your approval... that would just be rude of you :)

Mark :)

Aww Mark, we'll miss you! I know you'll jump up and down and scream when you see your beautiful wife!

Ms. Sheka, this week is your turn! I feel it!

OMG I have to get a new passport this week with the name change. Guess I'll be paying for expedite since I procrastinated...

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Have fun in Peru!!

David left an hour ago and I will be getting him at the airport tonight. We only have a week and a half but it's better than last month when I went to Scotland for a long weekend! :innocent:

I am just praying for a sympathetic POE agent and not someone in the midst of a divorce , hating to see happy couples.

He has a ton of proof he has to go back including a round trip ticket for next month when he brings mum over for a visit.

Happy Monday everyone!!! :dance::dance:

I will too! I'll celebrate just like it was mine again! C'mon CIS! Get a move on... MsSheka has a honey she really really wants to see!

My hubby is on his way down to visit. Hope he gets a REALLY nice border guard. I always get so worried when he crosses especially since he isn't working right now and is staying with a friend. I just keep my fingers crossed and say a little prayer and hope to God he gets through. We have a funeral on Friday and a wedding on Saturday.... UGH, what a week!

I have a headache.... I'll feel better once I know he's out of Canada. :innocent::whistle:
