Prince and Rose-congrats! I got the text and email this morning-approved the same day as yours, with the same updated date! So we're on the exact same schedule now!

Let's hope some more emails start coming in...keep checking your statutes online everyone! Mine had nothing earlier this morning, then it changed an hour later (after I got the text).

I know Mark hasn't been around this morning-I don't think he's read his emails yet. Hurry Mark and come back and check your email!!!!!

No such luck for me I am afraid. No email, no text, website still shows no touch since 09/02. Finn already knows I am excited and happy for her (we PM'ed earlier). But I am also happy for Prince and Rose. I hope this is my week, cause this is just killing me.

Mark :)

Mark we must have the same adjudicator you know the one on vacation :rofl: because my last touch was on 09/02/09 too and no email or text but i am so positive right now i see all my fellow filers being approved which means ours can happen at anytime :thumbs::thumbs: don't make me whip out the smileys Mark cheer up we're both still in the runningt4608.gif

:wow::rofl::wow:

Ms. Sheka, you crack me up. :D

COME ON, WHERE IS YOUR NOA222. D:

Yes, Ms. Sheka, Mark and Tree, this week for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only had one touch. Well, my timeline shows two but one of them was when I called to get my NOA1 number. So my one and only touch was 8/24. So please don't worry if you haven't had a touch in awhile!!!!!

We'll all be in the October NVC thread together. Yay!!!!!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Anyway, it's fun to do this in our mid-40s. We're like teenagers! And of course we're much older and wiser... ;)

This morning I woke up just feeling cruddy and down about all this immigration stuff. I called him early and he made me feel so much better just by talking to me!

A little while ago I just received a text from "358-42." I read it. I called my Finn Man so he could be on the phone with me when I tried to figure things out. I opened up an email I had just received while he was on the phone.

Here's a hint:

:wow::thumbs::dancing::dancing:(L):dance::yes::)

Thanks Karina! Good night Ms. Sheka! Okay you're probably asleep by now...

Well August filers it looks as if we made it just in time. It looks as if the immigration fees may increase soon.

http://www.thecalifornian.com/article/2009...EWS01/909240303

Well, maybe. But don't forget that most of us will still have to file to get conditions lifted, and I suppose most will be like my wife and want to file for naturalization (when I asked her, she didn't even hesitate, telling me she wanted to as complete a part of my life as possible :blush:

So, we would most likely be hit with this fee increase. I feel really bad for the folks who are so destitute that this will just greatly increase the hardship this system puts on their families. I feel sorta blessed that for me it really would nothing more than a nuisance.

Mark

Good morning! Ms. Sheka, you have more than your beautiful son??? Fun!

I sure hope I see good news for everyone when I log on later!!!! Of course, no one's finding out for a day or two later, so just because it appears nothing's happening today, it just very well could be happening!!!!
