Thanks!

Ms. Sheka, my hubby knows you as the positive one on VJ! You are our rock!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I know the feeling! I can only hold 100 texts in my cell, and I have 99. All 99 are from the Finn Man. Sometimes it gets full if I don't hear a text until later. Thankfully I had room for one this morning! Of course, I had to save that one and erase one of the Finn's... :(

When we got our approval text, it woke me up at 1:13 am from a dead sleep and heart beating like a race horse. Took me 3 times to read the text from USCIS, I thought I was dreaming.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

2 days later in more civilized hours, got a phone call from the Directors office in Washington, DC that our K3 was approved, hours later, got the text on that approval around 11 pm.

Truly happy!!!

Prince and Rose-congrats! I got the text and email this morning-approved the same day as yours, with the same updated date! So we're on the exact same schedule now!

Let's hope some more emails start coming in...keep checking your statutes online everyone! Mine had nothing earlier this morning, then it changed an hour later (after I got the text).

I know Mark hasn't been around this morning-I don't think he's read his emails yet. Hurry Mark and come back and check your email!!!!!

No such luck for me I am afraid. No email, no text, website still shows no touch since 09/02. Finn already knows I am excited and happy for her (we PM'ed earlier). But I am also happy for Prince and Rose. I hope this is my week, cause this is just killing me.

Mark :)

Heck, if USCIS is moving this fast and is already approving August filers...you have amazing chances Mark. :3

I hope you're right. I worry that I will suffer more of a delay, because I am requesting for my wife and my stepson. But I will keep my fingers crossed nonetheless...

Mark

Well August filers it looks as if we made it just in time. It looks as if the immigration fees may increase soon.

Mark, many, many filers got approvals with NO touches at all, and not even updated on USCIS webiste to show they were approved, this happened to many February filers, and just as many March filers, I read a thread just this weekend , they were approved, and their status still shows pending. They got NOA 2 in the U.S. Mail.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
