Ms. Sheka, I'm here for you if you need anything!

Thanks Finn i'm trying to get some rest but my 2 yr is not having it at allt61035.gif

Well just think...when he's a teenager, he'll be perfect! oops I meant :innocent:

:D

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Hi VJ'ers. I've been LOCKED out because I forgot my password. Looks like more approvals!!!!!!!

From the looks of things, I hope the NVC can process all of these approvals ASAP.

I've given up checking the uscis website daily because its still depressing to see the same old date (I am sure you guys know what I mean). Thank goodness that I got VJ to keep me busy and hopeful in the meantime :-)

Seeing other August filers get approved is really enlightening and encouraging for the rest of us. I always joke to my wife about how us Americans HATE waiting, yet... we have to wait for this thing... Ironic.

MsSheka: I hope your headache gets better. You and I have the same NOA1 dates! So we'll have to share once either of ours gets approved.

Anyways guys... back to class... have a great weekend everyone! Congratulations to everyone so far on their approvals. Hoping there's more coming SOON in all of our direction!

Yes... I should update it. The printed notice says 8/31/09, but I think I was touched on the second, and I think I recieved the NOA1 on the 1st or something like that. Can't remember now. Ok.. I am updating....

Hello! I filed our I-130 in mid August.

I received our NOA2 Approval Notice (Notice Date is Sept 14). Has anyone else received their Approval Notices yet? I see that Dan_Ling have received theirs. 1 month at CSC for NOA2... China must be faster or something.

I called the NVC to try to get our NVC number. I gave them our CIS Receipt Number (WAC....) but the operator said they don't have it on record. Probably haven't received it yet, which is odd because it's been 11 days since our I-130 was approved. Mail from the CA Service Center to NH NVC shouldn't take that long...

Actually I was not approved until 9/22 and you were approved on 9/14. Based on the people getting approved before us there are getting their Case# right at 14 days later, so you may have yours Monday. But if I were you I would be calling now also. :star:

I haven't seen my husband in two months and I'm going crazy!!!!!
