We're trying to schedule things for the next couple weeks... and trying to figure out from the interview how long would we expect to receive the visa? We just passed the medical, and the interview is next week. I also know that the seminar will happen shortly after as well. Anyone have any suggestions? We're working on scheduling the flight soon too. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Don't make travel plans.. or purchase a ticket until the visa is at hand. We don't know what bump you may encounter along the way on or after interview. ( Which of course we all hope that things would be smooth).

And also, when your girl gets her visa, she can have the CFO certificate and the sticker in just one day.

Do you get the visa the same day as the interview (if approved)? or do you have to come back for it?

You got to wait for the visa delivery. Once your girl receives the visa,.she can go and take the CFo seminar and the same day, she can get the Passport sticker. These are necessary. Because your girl can travel without attending the seminar and also the passport sticker. Edited by LÜvtechwifey

hi... don't buy any tickets yet as you don't know when will your visa arrives. in my case, it took me only 3 days but i read here on vj, there are others who haven't received their visas for a month or so coz they are under administrative review. ( i don't have any idea what happens to them now).

for the CFO, you can have it anytime you want but i would suggest to do it after you receive your visa so that you won't need to come back for your CFO sticker.

Good Luck :)
