Like I said in an earlier thread, the igonorance here shines bright. Know what you are talking about instead of repeating the cliches over and over. He wasn't a Senator for 47 years for doing no good at all. No one has claimed he was perfect. He did more for this country than all of you can dream about.

I do honestly think some democrats had/have good intentions with what they're trying to do. The only problem is that when the American public sees plain as day what the government does, they tend to oppose it. Democrats and Republicans and everyone in between.

Like some have said, politicians are politicians, and their first responsibility is to get elected/re-elected. Every politician has made promises they cannot keep, and knew they could not keep. They try to keep those stories out of the limelite and hope that people will forget it.

For example... Ted Kennedy recently did this just before his death. (history lesson) In 2004 with the prospect of a John Kerry presidency looming, Kennedy pushed for the the law to be changed so that the governor of Massachussetts (Mitt Romney) could NOT appoint a replacement to the Senate before the special election. Now (2009), since MASS has a democrat governer; Kennedy, before his death, pushed for it to be changed back to the way it was before. So that the Dems would still have their filibuster proof - majority in the senate. As of now, they only have 59 votes (however I contend that they still have 61+ with the two Senators from Maine, and Graham, etc. the list goes on).

Do you know the key steps to ultra-violet lithography etching process? Do you know the difference between a MOSFET, JFET, BJT? Do you know the basic level of a transistor? Do you know the difference of a Widlar current source, basic current source? What is a wheatstone bridge? How to they make a voltage rectifier, DSP? What are the difference between an embedded system, and a computer system?

Well the reason I ask is; several times you have spoke.. even boasted of your capabilities yet quite often your posts either don't make sense or are even difficult to comprehend what you mean.

Usually an engineer is more capable than even the average person of creating things THAT WORK.

But really, I have no ground to stand on as... at times, I reread my posts and wonder "what I was trying to say".
