OMG I went ghetto style tonight. It is 3:40am but my coding magix whipped up a 'hacked' solution for now. This number can certainly change but now the "find members posts" will show the last 250 posts for a member. The delays in the past are gone. The solution is a little "odd" but should provide a nice middle ground for functionality balanced with getting the forums speed back :). I will look for a better solution when my mind is awake in the next few days!

Same here....it is much better.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I have to say. The finall all posts my member function is killing me (us). No explanation of why it suddenly is such a huge deal.... errr...

4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

I am still having problems with posts getting hung up and taking a long time to load. It seems to be virtually every post now as well, not just intermittently. We rebooted our router last night and I defragged my hard drive last night to see if that would help speed things up in case it was at our end, but there is no difference this morning on VJ. I still get the messages "waiting for Visa Journey" and long delays.

Yes - hit and miss lately. This morning (8AM'ish) was terrible (replying to posts) - click, go make coffee, come back and post..

Odd thing (for me) - Find member posts; when doing this (usually) by selecting 'open in new tab' versus simply opening in existing window, it seems to work faster/not hang as much.

At 8am it was me. I was load testing. That said if you spot slow downs please note the exact time (and timezone) and post here if you can because this will help me find out what is going on -- not too many big slow downs like before in the logs today.
