I don't get why people crow about the popularity of things as if that in itself should be the standalone argument for their validity.

Ann has a popular following...

Well so does Ron Jeremy...

Who the ** cares.

People are usually popular in their field for a reason.

Next time you shoot a porn movie... follow Ron's advice.... and someone might care to watch it.

Danno - when you reach a point in your life to qualify for Medicare and Social Security benefits, will you refuse to accept those benefits or will you take them?

Stephen, this lame attempt at connecting the two is.. well lame.

Just because I use the U.S. Post Office does not mean I welcome more govt. in my life.

By the way..

Why does the Govt refuse to let anyone else deliver something to your mail box?

are the protecting my interests... or theirs?

So you want your Medicare and Social Security when you qualify, correct?

Silly? I'm not the one that believes that sexual orientation is relevant to political discourse, unlike your friend Ann who seems to think that the US is bursting to the seams with people queuing to have a sex change op - at her expense ;)

Q; Should sex change ops and the aftercare be covered?

Do you think sex-change ops (a procedure carried out on a tiny number of people each year) are a big enough issue to be a major criticism of government healthcare reform?

If not - then you need to get over it and find a better argument that doesn't pander to this idiotic idea that any and everything the government does should reflect your personal morality.

There you go again, Scarecrow...asking questions and more questions! I see you already forgot you said that you don't do that. Your amnesia must be kicking in again...or is it dementia? Write yourself post-it notes if you can't remember what you said.

Explain how that question is relevant in the larger picture of health care and the mess this country is in.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Its not - it's just a(nother) diversionary tactic..
