Hey everyone! Not sure if I am posting this in the right area but I am sure it will get moved if it is not. I am a June VSC filer that will have her foreign fiance interviewing in London hopefully by the end of the year (fingers crossed). I have a question about income. I am the USC and make well above the poverty line here in the US so the affidavit of support should not be a problem, but my fiance was made redundant (laid off) in March and has not been able to find a job since then. The UK economy is worse off than ours at the moment, at least where he lives. If he is still unemployed when he interviews in London, will this affect him getting his visa? He is planning on going back to school when he comes over after we get married so he will have more options for work after he get here. He just wanted to me to check with all of you about still being unemployed in the UK when his interview in London comes up. Thanks a bunch!

Kimberly

Nope, the employment status of the K-1 applicant (beneficiary) matters not a whit.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
