Birth certificate and Cenomar

Hi guys!

I wanna know how many birth certificates and cenomar do i need to secure from

the NSO. anybody has their NSO birth certificate being not so clear cause mine looks like

the letters are overlapping each other.

You can only get one (1) Cenomar and police report.

But you should always make copies and we did three (3) for our records.

For Birth Certificates we also got three (3) originals not copies.

Why because we need them for the U.S. and to be safe we did not want to try to get copies

Fun thing is she has the very first one .. looks like ####### but its nice to have.

We have a new safe and all of our copies of K-1, AOS paper now that she is her and important papers go into it.

She brought all her papers to the states .. education, I.D. cards, Medicine information from doctor so we could get HER NEW Doctor to give her new prescriptions.

Remember to look thought all your papers and bring everything it will be awhile before you go back.

We got ths safe online from Walmart $59.00 at walmart, and mounted it in the closet at home.

Good size for folders to fit into.

you need only 1 NSO original of your birth cert, but if print is bad, you can ask for a handwritten version from your local civil registrar to back it up. make sure you photocopy (in color) both at least 2 copies.

1 cenomar is all you need for the visa application, but you can order as many cenomars from NSO (you can even do this online on their website) make sure you photocopy in color also (for whatever emergencies that may arise, hopefully none)

My fiance and I are still waiting for the NOA2 but we have already gathered the necessary forms and documents expected for the rest of the process.

You and I have the same concern. Anyway, I have seen that one's name appears twice on the NSO birth certificate-- on the upper part and on the lower portion. Try to check there because my name looks better at the bottom section. Besides, just to really get ready, I secured a copy of my LCR (Local Civil Registrar Certificate of Live Birth). I hope that makes it adequate. Perhaps someone else here can give the appropriate answer.

I just ordered my CENOMAR and NSO birth certificate online and they are quite fast. I sent my online request on Monday in the morning and paid it during noontime (in cash over the BDO counter). They sent the dispatch notice for the birth certificate yesterday, Wednesday, and I received it today. This Thursday afternoon, they mailed the dispatch notice for the CENOMAR so hopefully, it arrives on Friday this week.
