For a few weeks now, I can't see YouTube videos posted on VJ. All I see is the little "x" indicating a broken link. I can see videos on other sites, including YouTube itself, and videos posted on Facebook, etc. Clues, anyone??

You only put the #%#$% (youtube video id) in the BBcode. Maybe that is what the issue is?

It's not just the videos I post (the test YouTube video I just posted is invisible to me here), but all the ones others are posting. I can't even see posted videos from a while back which I previously could view. If I find the same video on YouTube, I can see it there.

Not sure if you are still having this problem, but I suspect this is an issue with your web browser. I'm going to guess you are using Firefox. Digging a little deeper, I suspect the issue may be with your Flash plug-in. Flash is used to display embedded videos, such as YouTube videos. Recommendation: uninstall your Flash plug-in for Firefox, and re-install it (it might be a good idea to go with the most up-to-date version of the plug-in as well).

The problem was with both IE and Firefox. This morning, however, videos became visible in Firefox, but sill not in IE...

Hmmm...maybe a security setting for Windows? Did you recently do a Windows Security Update?

I checked my settings, but didn't see anything that should block embedded videos....
