In many countries, the wearing of jewelery in public invites theft and robbery. If it important to YOU, go out and pick up some cheap fake diamond gold plated ring for show. Your "real" ring will come later on.

you're going to ankara's embassy? go to kizilay, there are some cheap stores around there. we got our rings there...well, we actually liked and wanted ours lol....but you will find some trinket stores and what not that have some cheap stuff...try that...or i guess if you're coming from IR, you may have cheaper stuff there? just for show, who cares...
