Next time NVC schedules interviews on the 2nd week of September (Sep.07 - Sep.11). If the case is complete during that 2nd week of September will they schedule the interview right away? I don't want to wait another month just because it takes 18 days for those dummies to process DS-3032!

It's been a while but when I was going through the NVC I watch the forms and it didn't seem like if you were approved the 2nd week that you would get an interview scheduled. The good news is that although they say interviews are only scheduled on the 2nd week of September it isn't true. If your embassy is not busy and doesn't book enough interviews on the 2nd week then they will continue giving interviews throughout the month. I know this because I was given an interview date after the 2nd week. So it's best to call every week or every few days even after the 2nd week. Who knows you might get a pleasant surprise in the way of a interview date!

Just curious, how did you know they reviewed your AOS package?? Did you just call and ask?

How long usually does it take for NVC to complete the case once they receive DS-230 package? They already reviewed my AOS package.

I'd say about a month or less if there is no RFE. In my case, it took about 38 days but that's because I had an RFE.

Wow your NVC process is taking a long time. Did you get AP? I took me 2 weeks from receiving my packages to case closed and that was with an RFE. So it could be faster if you don't have any mistakes and have everything together.

I don't know if it was approved or not, but automated message system says they have reviewed it, whatever it means.

You can check my time line but it was a week to the day. AOS reviewed, week later case complete and I had the appointment letter the following week. Oh and the appointment was a month later. They give you time if you have to travel or get documents together.
