I feel the need to address something in here to the USC's. In 2002, President George W. Bush issued an executive order that initiated the development of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. While executive orders are orders from a government executive, such as a president, a governor, or a mayor, that have the force of the law these branches of government developed still have to operate within the framework of the Constitution. There are checks and balances in place and it is our duty as U.S. citizens to uphold our rights in the constitution. It's "We the People of the United States" that hold the power as the Constitution was written with the idea to limit the role of Government in our lives.

In the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution the 4th Amendment states,

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probably cause supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

This is OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT! They have to inform you of probable cause for searching your house and what exactly they were searching for. You have every right to know what is going on with your case as well and you can file a Freedom of Information Act or FOIA to find out. Though they may omit some information from what they release to you if it pertains to national security but they are also checked on that as well and it can take years to get that information from them. It is our duty as U.S. citizens, we are the citizens, to be the check and balance too. Those that say you would get a denial if you didn't are under a misconception as the government is not above the law and have to operate within the laws or you could take it to the Supreme Court as others have.
