Hi everyone! I just have a question.. anyone have a case where the beneficiary is living in a country other than their home country where the US Embassy will be processed through?

Reason I ask is my fiancee is in Aruba, but will be going home to the Philippines for his interview. Our NOA 2 is only a few months away and I was curious to where they would send the information for him, to Aruba or Philippines?

To make things even more complicated, he will be moving as of Sept 1st...to another apartment in Aruba.. only for a few months before he goes home to the Phillipines..so do we need to do a change of address?

The reason we did not go through the embassy in Venezuela is because he is not a resident of aruba, they did not approve his renewal of his work permit, eventhough he has been there for 9 years. But he is currently in appeals with that.. Nothing is easy! Especially waiting... I know everyone knows that! I just dont want any confusion with anything when the NOA 2 does evenutally come. Any replies would be greatly appreciated, I read through VJ for hours and hours on end and I decided I should just write and ask and see if anyone can help. Thank you all in advance and God Bless

They send the packet 3 to the beneficiary address that you provided when you filed...

So the address in Aruba? We are going to have to notify them of his change of address then obviously, right?

for changes you call the USCIS hotline. please visit the site. www.uscis.gov. Good Luck :)

Hi. My fiancee was working in Saudi Arabia when we submitted our application. I was also confused at that time since technically even though she resides there, her permanent residence is in the Philippines and also she would be moving back to the Philippines before her interview.

In the I-129F form, I wrote down her permanent address which is in the Philippines. In the G-325A, where Im being asked to list all the addreses including the "current", I wrote down both addresses as current but added a note that the Saudi address will only be good till July.

Everything went smooth and we got our NOA2 the same day she returned to the Philippines. The package was also forwarded there, and she just finished her first day of medical exam.

Thank you so much for your reply.. im so glad everything went smoothly for you. He will remain in Aruba until we receive the NOA2 and then he will head home. So I guess either way it doesnt matter where they send it, because we DID put that we will be going through the Consulate in Manila. And his Grandmother lives at the address he put down in the Phillippines. I will however change his current address with the USCIS incase they send it to Aruba. Ugh its so confusing having 3 different countries involved. Again, Thank you so much, its good to know there are others our there with a similar situation.

if you indicated that your preference for interview is the home country and the residence is also philippines, i don't think there would be any problem. packet 3 will be sent to the beneficiary's address as indicated in the forms you filled out when you filed for the petition. good luck.
