Successful interview, AR only took one week, casa called for his passport........now another week has passed. How long does it usually take for the visa to actually get in the applicant's hand? :blink:

October 11, 2005 NOA2 yeeeaaah we are approved

October 13, 2005 Petition left for NVC, where on our way now

October 14, 2005 Touched Again. I don't get it

October 17, Recieved NOA2 Via Snail mail

October 24, RecievedNVC case #

October 27, Petition Shipped to Embassy

October 31, Embassy received petition

November 1, Embassy called to set up fingerprint appointment

November 4, Fingerprint appointment

November 23, Fingerprint check results came in - Thumbs up

November 30, Fiance picks up packet 3

December 1, Medical exam

December 5, Call embassy to set up interview date

December 5, Pick up medical results

December 28, embassy tells us they screwed up

January 23, Interview date

january 23, Need a waiver 601 and 212

January 31, Turned in Waivers

February 27, Waiver sent to Athens, (Took long enough)

Wow, you got through that quick! Majid turned in his passport on a Friday, and had his visa in hand on the following Wednesday. That was a K-1, though, so perhaps it's different. Congratulations!

January 28, 2006 - WEDDING!!!

February 27, 2006 - Sent in AOS

June 23, 2006 - AP approved

June 29, 2006 - EAD approved

June 29, 2006 - Transferred to CSC

October 2006 - 2 year green card received!

July 15, 2008 - Sent in I-751

July 22, 2008 - I-751 NOA

Thanks for answering my question. Thanks to everyone else for the congrats too! I almost forgot I am supposed to be happy. lol I'm such a pessimist. I am having trouble being happy until my husband actually has the visa in his hand! :unsure:

Congratulations!!! May your husband have his visa in hand very quickly. We went through the K-1 Visa and it took my husband one week from interview to visa in hand. There is never any way to tell how long, unfortunately. But enjoy, he will be with you soon, I pray.

My husband had his interview, then was called back a week later and he handed in his passport almost 60 days ago...then Ramadan and the office is only open 4 hours a day....how long should it take? I consulted a lawyer here in the US, he said it can take 60 to 90 days to get a visa...

he too is in Casablanca

thank you for responding....it has been 16 months since our marriage, and I can't wait for this to end.
