yes, he helped the disabled and pushed the fmla./.that allot of americans use....and need,,,

Definitely no praises for that.

Bush has done some good things, are you going to start praising him.

Did Bush die as well?

Are you trying to make the argument that because he died I should go beyond being respectful of departed and start praising him when I didnt agree with about 90% of the things he did? I will not bad mouth him and I will not praise him, that my friend is a gentlemens response

It does not matter one iota to what's rotting the box, but it does matter to the survivors. Funerals are for the living, not the dead, and it does not hurt to find something that justifies the deceased life in the end. I am no fan of the Kennedy's, but I can acknowledge their accomplishments, especially when we are talking about them in the past tense.

Or you could be a little more progressive and focus on the 10% you did agree with him.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Lets see the context. ;)

Without that, all you have is the party blinders.

No party blinders here, simple thing is I disagreed with alot of things he did, I wasnt a fan when he was alive and I am not a fan now that he is dead and like I said I will not bad mouth him, I will not praise him.

What good does that do really? I was the same way with Michael Jackson when he died, this has nothing to do with party lines. I didnt like that man I dont like this man, I seen him as divisive and I think my response to this has been very good even though I dont want to praise him.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Im sure the 'survivors' would rather hear stories from the people who respected him and admired him as opposed to some guy who didn't and feels he has too because Ted died. In other words I dont want you speaking at my funeral.

You need not worry there will be many to praise him. ;)

Bush did facilitate improving Homeland Security & Defense (accomplishment #1) and he helped produce two hot daughters (accomplishment #2) :P

As for Kennedy he did a lot of great things & perhaps at least one very bad thing (although he was never convicted). However I think the right wing BS in the other two Kennedy threads (at least one has been locked) is disgusting & uncalled for. Hopefully this thread can remain civil.
