My fiance passed the medical has everything set and we got my misspelling of the middle name fixed and all documents are matching and we're feeling good for next Tuesday. Now this, Diana was looking through some memories last night and saw that her middle name was spelled wrong on her school records. This is frustrating the H*ll outta me!! Should I be worried?

The thought occurred to me what's the comparison point, I guess I'm asking what do they compare the NBI and CENOMAR stuff too? Everything we're giving them matches. BC, NBI, CENOMAR, the docs... If I were processing it looks good but I'm not doing the processing. Does the embassy go data mining?

Your good to go if your visa forms, passport, NBI, CENOMAR, BirthCert all match up.

Meryll had her baptismal certificate corrected, but I think it would not have made a difference in the visa approval. I have read where some VJers had there names mis-spelled on passports and even on the visa.

USEM did not check my school records during interview. I brought them with me, but of course they didnt ask for them. What they check are NBI,CENOMAR and all stuff related to your relationship and visa. I think your fiancee is good. Good luck!

school records are not required so you don't even need to include it. you're good to go!

I know she won't need this now, but later (after all the hoopla), your girl may want to consider securing an affidavit of discrepancy and keeping it on hand for future use (in any circumstance where her school records would be needed and they are matched against her main identification documents)...just to be on the safe side.

The school records would be needed if the BC is late registered. But if all of the visa forms, BC, NBI and CENOMAR match, you are all good to go.

If she has a late registered BC, let her bring her baptismal certificate with the matching name from the BC.
