Police Certificates/ Court Records

Hi All! My fiance has already ordered all his police records for the various places he has lived. We know there is going to be stuff on them and we are trying to make sure we have everything we need lined up so as the packets start coming through we can send them back straight away. My question is, has anyone had to request copies of court records for the UK or Sweden? We are unsure how to do this and are looking for some guidance.

We visited the Swedish Police page and that only shows how to order the police certificate. Any help or guidance would be great!

Thanks...

Hi,

I'm going to be doing this this week myself. Here is a link to the form: http://www.acpo.police.uk/certificates.asp

It looks like money+signed photo+utilitybill = police certificate

Just curious...can I ask what the affidavits requested are for? We haven't gotten this far yet. We are getting married on 7 Sep and then will sumbit the I-130 as soon as we get the marriage cert in the mail. I am leaving in Nov so we want to get as much done as we can before I go.

Here's a link to the US State Dept website page that give you info on Sweden. If you want info on UK, just click on UK in the pull-down menu on the same page.
