I send my condolences to his family but -

No sympathy for a man that has caused more damage to this country in his 40+ years as a Senator, left a young woman to die a tortuous death in the back of his sunken car, and lived a life of debauchery and self serving evil.

Why is it those with no religion (from what I gather) are always fixated with it and feel compelled to introduce it into debates so often>?

This is another disgusting thread. Why are these people allowed to sit here and spout their #######... It may be in off topic but it is not what VJ is for. Yes there should be a forum when general chitchat can take place but off topic has just become a place for a certain few to run around acting like spoilt brats and seeing how much sh!t they can through at each other, and look out anyone who dares to speak up against this behaviour..

Where were you when assassination movies were being made about bush and Palins kids were under attack?

See, I didn't get the note that we can attack peoples kids, family and call for their death but...... but upon death we then must "show a little respect".

Let me ask you this.. and be honest, had Bush been bumped off (as so many fantasized about) do you really believe the multitude of attackers would have laid down their pens and key boards and "shown Bush respect?"

There is big truth in that, and I can tell you if, I thought for a second some close family member would be reading my words I would take a much more compassionate tone.

What's interesting here is that you apparently can't grasp the difference between what you yourself are doing and defending and your hypothetical fantasy about what others would do in reversed circumstances.

Its also quite wrong - as many of the people you're aiming this comment at didn't attack people's kids, call for anyone's death or condone any of it.

So your justification there is on decidedly shaky ground I'm afraid.
