actually here in Egypt they wont give you an appointment with out the letter..There are only two places to do it in cairo..The Anglo Americian hospital in Zamelek and Sharook hospital in mohendseen..You can call and ask but they wouldnt let me untill I had the letter. can you track the package with dhl?

My fiance called DHL and they have no record of the package. I emailed the embassy and got a short email back saying they sent the package August 12th. When I called the embassy today, they were very rude and said I could only contact them by email or mail and wouldn't help me.

So do you all think I should just send in the forms I know need to be sent to the embassy and wait for the interview letter then get the physical? Do you bring the physical envelope to the interview?

I have gotten conflicting information on this. We couldn't have gotten this far without Visa Journey. Everyone here is so great!

My fiance is having the same issue. The US embassy in New Delhi said they sent him the packet 3 on August 10th and he still hasn't received it. The response I got from them in an email regarding this was only to say that they would schedule him for the interview after they recieved the completed DS-230 form part 1 and the signed Applicants statement. I don't believe they sent packet 3 at all. I don't know why they would do that though, doesn't make sense to me that they would mislead us for no reason.

Anyway, your embassy's website should have the packet 3 and 4 information and instructions in there with the correct forms attachments to the top right-hand side of the packet 3 and the packet 4 pages. If I knew which embassy you're dealing with I would have placed a direct link to these.

Anyway, go there and look for them. You can even google it by typing 'such and such embassy, packet 3 or packet 4 and see if it gets you to the right place.

Wish I could help you more.

Take care.

Also, I'm wondering if my fiance needs his Military Certificate, Birth Certificate, and Police Record ALL translated into english??? They are all currently in arabic.

Thanks.

You don't need to have them translated for the interview, as long as they are in Arabic, as that is the primary language of the country you're applying through. You will need a translation of the birth certificate for AOS, though.
