Hi evryone,

I'm just really anxious right now that we received an email from USCIS saying that they send a mail requesting for initial evidence.

I'm thinking--is this because we only provided a certified photocopy of the divorce decree?

or because the yellow immunization form on my medical was not sent (as per doctor's advice)?

or because we do not have tax transcript?

please help....

Just wait for the RFE, it will tell you exactly what was missing.

Like the other people said above, just wait for your RFE.

But for your info:

The following are the most common reasons for a request for evidence:

* I-864, Affidavit of Support, related:

* Submission of an I-864 by petitioner/sponsor

Correct version of the form

Submission of an I-854 by a joint sponsor

* I-693, Medical Exam/Supplemental I-693, Vaccinations

* Marriage/birth certificates and English translations

* Evidence of Eligibility (I-797, Notice of Pending/Approved I-130/I-129F, Evidence of Nationality, etc.)

* Legal entry

I have the feeling you're in the wrong discussion group ... :huh:

But I would say, what all the others told you - wait for the letter and you'll see what is it about!

Boy I hear you in my dreams

I feel your whisper across the sea

I keep you with me in my heart

You make it easier when life gets hard

Sure sounds like AOS with the medical, ours was sent in a sealed envelop given to us by our doctor, he said, don't open it, it would be rejected, but gave us a copy of it anyway. Was amused by that I-693, said at the bottom, can have all those diseases and still be accepted, as long as you agree to counseling. N-400 is just like the AOS, have to bring in all of your original evidence plus anything else you can think of, that in both cases was the determining factor. But seems like several people got that same e-mail for RFE, somebody playing a bad joke? Signing up for those e-mails is purely optional and frankly, a waste of your time. Camp out at your mailbox.
