No, but it's helpful to have enough to pay for the plane ticket to the USA. See the instructions for the I-134 and read them carefully.

It only matters if you are sponsoring them based on your assets. You must prove anything that you claim on the I134.

If you need assets to make up for an income short fall, you will need to show proof of those assets.

If you can sponsor based on income, you needn't fill out anything at all on your assets, and do not need to show proof of them either. (but you will need to show proof of income)

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

I will pay for everything, she doesn't work.

No. You need to show you can meet the minimum guidelines with income. If you do that it is not necessary to even have a bank acoount. Bank assets can be used to make up shortfalls in income, but if income is sufficient, bank account information is irrelevent
