Hi everybody!

I'm new here and I need help!

My fiancé and I want to file the K1 as soon as possible.

I already prepared everything but before we sent it to USCIS I wanna make sure we made everything correct.

1)

I have no middle name, would I write "none" or "n/a" in the box?

2)

Is the example fiancé letter of intent that I found here enough?

The book I bought said that we should sent them evidence of wedding arrangements.

But we don't have any, because when I get there we wanna marry in the courthouse first and then plan a big wedding for 2011. How should I show them any evidence then?

Mmh, that's it for now, but I'm sure more will follow

Thanking you in anticipation!!!

Oh another thing about the proofs that we met in person in the last 2 years.

I don't have all boarding passes left and my fiancé didn't keep any.

But we still have the itineraries and stamps in our passports.

Will that work?

Stamps in your passports will be primary evidence. The itineraries are secondary evidence (good to include as well) - anyone can make flight reservations and print out an itinerary, but having the boarding pass or passport stamps show you actually took the trip.

Passport stamps should be sufficient.

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

Thanx so much for your help.

I sent all my stuff to my fiancé yesterday.

We were just wondering if we should sent the papers to USCIS just lose, or in a folder or something?!

What I did was put the paperwork in one stack, using two large paperclips one on top and one on the side to hold the paperwork together. The cover letter was on top followed by the check, visa photos, the 129, 325, supporting documents, letter of intent to marry, photographs, stamped passport, boarding passes, etc. Place it in a UPS envelope and done. Hope this helps and good luck on your journey.
