Hello fellow members,

Please forgive me if i will ask this question again as am really worried and don't know what's going on?

We filed I-130 applications for my 2 kids in the Phils on April '09 and all i got was NOA 1..no touches, updates or emails whatsoever. I seen some who was already approved.

I filed my I-751 in July of this year..my questions are;

1 . what do u think is going on? You think USCIS is waiting for the approval of my I-751 before they can make decisions on our I-130?I already had my biometrics last August 4 for my removal.

2. My husband who is the petitioner lost his job 3 months ago but we are both working now...do you think it affected the I-130 application?

Sorry for asking this..but just makes me feel sad and think it's a loooonggg time being away from my 2 minor kids.

I would appreciate any help.

No - I don't see any connection between the two.

Not directly - how would they know this?

You are still within the normal processing time. USCIS does not expidite cases for children they get processed along with all the other applications of the same date.

You say its a long time to be away from your kids. Can I ask why you are only just filing for them if you have been in the US for 3 years?

Thank you ..because we were waiting for the right time when my kids don't have to adjust status and remove their condition when they are here if they can have the immigrant visa instead of the k2.Been here in the US for 25 months now not 3 yrs.
