I've lived in both. I grew up in a "big" town - 6000 people. It was the biggest town around, and we actually lived outside the town limits. I've lived in two different small towns in Europe and a big city in Europe and one in Asia. I've lived in a town of 1200 people in the US and spent much of my childhood in a town of 800. I've lived in Houston, Atlanta, and New York. I LOVE cities like New York and Paris. Houston was just like a big town with bad traffic and more conveniences. So is the city I live in now.

I would like to live in a city, but my husband wants to live in a "village" and I think it would be best for our daughter. People in the city are DEFINITELY NOT more laid back than people in the country in my experience. Nothing could be farther from my experience. And people in the small towns I've lived in are very open-minded. Much more open-minded than most people I've known in cities. But, again, that's just my experience.

I will tell you if Cambodia became a US Territory. I'd prefer living there rather here. It's gorgeous out there.

Honestly, I've always wanted to go to Cambodia or Thailand..they're one of Asian countries I would love to visit one day.

I'm hoping my next job will be in Thailand. But I'll have to live in the middle of Bangkok because that's where the schools that pay real money are located.
