Hi Everyone,

My husband and I got my interview letter today. We're so happy that the USCIS are working so fast!:thumbs: My interview appointment will be on Sept. 29, 2009 at 6:30 AM in Dallas, Texas. My husband was wondering about the time "6:30 AM?" Are they really open at 6:30 in the morning? For those who had their interview in Dallas please share your interview experienced.

Thanks and we really appreciate your input.:thumbs:

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Congratulatons! I got mine Monday too. It's set for Oct. 5. I thought mine was early--8:30am! I won't have met the residency requirement on the interview date (that happens on Oct. 15) so I wonder if they'll hold off approval for ten days.

Can't say much about your 6:30 AM appointment, we had an 8:00 AM appointment once, but wasn't called in until 11:20 AM. They don't offer refreshments, like a cup of coffee, but that's fine, may have to use the restroom, and just as you walk out, they may call you. Worse thing is starting at a portrait of GWB for over three hours, that can do strange things to your brain. Our wait for the N-400 was only an hour, but still seems like an eternity.

Mixed emotions when receiving that interview letter, happy it finally came in, but have to study that civics test. Would be okay if that is all you have to do, but other things keep on popping up. Who invented the 24 hour day? Seems like we need more like a 72 hour day, but if we had one, would require a 144 hour day.

Congratulations- yipes, 6:30!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Hey Family,

06:30? Sounds like a same day oath to me. Best of luck and pray you get an IO who had a decent cup of coffee to start the day right. Once again, congrats and try to tie-up some loose ends.
