I filed for my mother. The problem is her name on the my birth certificate is different then on her official name. Basically she has her name and then an alias name. On the birth certificate they used alias name. Now the officer is asking for additional documents support to provide for name change. There is no official court record to show the name change, how do I show the proof of this?

3. Citizenship [Completed/2008-2009/Total Days: 113]

It took us 1496 days from day I filed I-130 to Citizenship & Oath.

lomeshp I am sorry to hear you are having to deal with this issue. The only thing I can tell you is that you may want to post this question in the regional forum as I am sure I have read about others who have had issues like yours.
