hi guys

my case got NOA2 today...i am just curious whats next.by they way my case's NOA2 issued after approx 5 mmonths of case filed.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

so im glad today.when will they sent to NVC if it goes to NVC? and how much time will it take till case comes to my embassy here?

It will go to the NVC, who will process it and send it on to the embassy of the beneficiary.

You should be prepping with the needed items for the embassy interview - usually found on their websites.

Usual turn around time is 2-6 weeks from NVC.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Takes a couple of weeks (some times more, sometimes less) for the case to get to NVC. Check Immigration Timelines (above) for your particular Embassy/Consulate.

Hello there!

Congratulations on your NOA2! There isn't a fixed time schedule for the processing. However, from what I have seen, VSC filers will get their file at the NVC in a few days. I would plan on 4 working days. After that you can call them directly and they are very nice, everytime I called they have been most helpful. When you call they can tell you if they have your file or not, if they do not have a record on you yet, it just means that your file did not get there yet. Now, generally they mail the file in a matter of days, but some cases are chosen for AP, which can take a while, weeks. Just check with them every 3 to 4 days.

As you see in my timeline my case got there pretty quick.

From the NVC to the embassy it takes about 4 days. From there, it totally depends on the embassy how busy they are, and how quickly they get your interview. I know that Philipines and London take a month or so..., Romania and Poland are about two weeks.
