Different Bio dates for Luz and Robin

Luz got her Bio appointment of Sept 3 last week. Today her son, Robin got a letter saying his Bio date is Sept 15! Now, we live 3 hours from Naperville where we must go and I don't understand why they would split up the appointments like this. Has anyone else gotten split dates for mother and son like this? Does this mean there will be separate interview dates?

Why don't you all go the same date and try for a walk in bio for Robin?

Chances are they will not have an interview... I have not seen anyone getting interviewed for ROC this year brother.

 that's what I would do (take the letter from the other appointment to show)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I think it is 123 once the recording picks up. That really stinks Gary. However as we know that is the USCIS for ya. Try the walk in on the same day Luz is going just bring the appointmnet letter and hand it in when you hand in the one for Luz. they will most likley take them both.........

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

I just talked to the USCIS. They said the same thing sister Len said, both go at the same time. If they have the time they will do both, if they don't have the time he must return on the 15th. It would really suck if we had to come back. I only have one more vacation day left and as it is I will be taking a day off without pay if they need an interview. She also said that he may get a different interview day if one is required since he is over 18 now. Jeez, I love the USCIS.
