hey commies. we went to the casino after the wedding at like 4 this morning and on my first try on the slot machine I won $1500. i've only just got home from the festivities. I think I drank waaaaay too much. I tried putting on two pairs of sunglasses when driving home.

We were at the Patawamee Casino last night too, in New Buffalo MI (that's right on the MI/IN border). Which casino were you at?

there's a riverboat casino down here in evansville, that's where we went. the biggest complaint from everyone was they stopped serving alcohol at 3am at the bar we were at so we walked over to the casino and they stopped serving it at 3am too. something about indiana's laws. boooo. we still had fun. did you win anything?

I very rarely gamble and don't really like casinos but I was drunk enough to go for it this morning. One of the guys with me was like omfg when it's done just cash out and leave. Screw playing anything else :lol:

No we didn't win last night, but we didn't gamble much either. Just penny slots, and video poker. We were down about $15.

I thought of sitting in on a $1/$2 hold'em game, but I didn't want to leave Vicky alone for an hour or two while I was at the poker player. So instead we went to the buffet.

What amazed me was that the poker tables are now all completely automated - everything is on screens, there is no dealer and no actual paper cards or clay chips. What has the world come to ??!! :o

We're thinking of going to Vegas at christmas time. Does anyone know if Vegas poker tables are all digital now as well? Last time I was there was about 6 or 7 years ago.

My best night in a casino ever was in Sydney Australia, believe it or not. Maybe BY is right - things are better down under! I had a good night at the poker table there, up about $300 AUD on a $80AUD stake. (I'm not a high roller, obviously :P ).

today is the last day of hubster being home on leave. It's about time, he drives me crazy with his pitzing around, standing in my way. I got a feeling that I haven't accomplished a thing during the last days because I often have to interrupt my stuff to help hin with little stuff, horrible. kitchen still looks like a hurricane went through...
