*yawn* Good night my favourite commie friends...been a long a$$ day...long a$$ week to be honest. Hope to be around more tomorrow and Sunday, even though I have papers to write for both classes.

OH! Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian Commie family members! We're having the traditional turkey lurkey dinner. My little munchkin is so proud - she was proclaiming to all at work today that Monday was Thanksgiving Day, to which they would say "aw honey, that's not until next month" and she would grin and say "but not for my Daddy - he's Canadian!"

Sigh..my sweet baby...she's a Canadian at heart too!

Besides the Hindu concept of the Trinity (Shiva / Vishnu / Brahma) which closely echoes the the Christian concept of the Trinity (Father / Son / Holy Ghost), I am particulary interested in the Hindu's concept of feminity in the Divine (Dugra / Parvati / Uma / Kali) and its close ties to the Mariology of Catholicism, in particular.

I worked with a psychiatrist who explained the dozen or so deities and what they meant. He said despt his education, he still believed in it (most of his Indian colleagues ceased) and he said he'd never admit it or they'd think he was psychotic (which we had a good laugh about).

I slept 4hrs last night. I got a little tipsy too. Have a long day ahead of me and somehow I hurt my foot last night.

I had a weird weird weird conversation last night...

me: why are you still drinking? it's 4am

him: i was drinking all night

me: i know. i could smell beer while you were biting my nipples.

Been lazy today...haven't made coffee yet...making some French bread toast cos I just don't feel like anything else. Gonna be a long a$$ day. It's rained off and on all night and this morning. Got stuff to do...can't get motivated to do it, but maybe by the time hubby is home I'll have the motivation.

good morning commies! and very happy to report after 2 days of storming the sun is out. just in time for my niece's 4 year old birthday party :dance: the one that my mom accused me of being a very bad aunt since i did not give up my entire weekend last week at the very last minute. but the parents were fine and have been inviting me over all week. hmmmm, guess they got over it :lol:
