oh sister, don't get me started. We both have a huge "Reading problem"..... He is a very well known SciFi connoisseur; and also likes some Fantasy. i am all about legal thrillers and mysteries. When we got married, I started classifying our library. Stopped after 700 paperbacks, having not made one freaking dent in the shelves. And there's always teh academic stuff for both of us, plus his obsession with military history and mine with social justice and gender issues.

A friend of mine called him once "an intellectual powerhouse". I was in agreement. Bren is that. And that makes me love him even more. :)

 I just remembered, when we were moving from Canada to the US; a friend of mine was helping us pack. She said "you can get rid of some books, you know?" and Bren responded "well, you can get rid of your kid, but you don't"... my friend LOLed.... I went  cuz I knew he was being serious

When my dad met him, he said something to the effect that finally I had found someone who loved books as much as I did, but who loved me more than he loved books.

Oh my, I am getting all  about this.

Very cool *Len*...great gift. Once, when I was younger, I turned off the TV for 3 years and did nothing but read. It changed my life for the better...

...but I never became an intellectual powerhouse like the readhead
