Personnel manager says she'd call me when she knew anything but, then she said it could be up to 30 days!

uuuuggggghhhh...pffffftttt...dat blows HermanaMaria! Not 'knowing' is teh svck about that job...that is just too much like the entire immigration process 'where is my noa1/2/ead/gc?....' :(:help::angry::angry::crying:

Try to have patience dear...we know its rough :crying:

maria you need to open a can of whoop azz on those people! they approved the time off and now they're not giving you a position.

I know, they're trying to say they don't have any positions open at this time that would not affect my health issues. They have a position available in the chemicals dept, i'm not alllowed to do that coz of my chronic lung issues. Not allowed to be a cashier because of direct contact with customer's bugs, i got sick before when i was a cashier for a month and ended up in hospital with pneumonia.

They said to wait at home for them to call, that maybe something will come up in the next 30 days coz they get busy in the run-up to black friday and christmas.

If thats the case why don't they just lay me off and re-hire me within the 30 days so i can collect unemployment, coz they would have to pay it?? maybe thats why they wont?

Well, personnel called me bout an hour ago, i'd to go fill in another ADA ( application for disability accomodation) and fax it to my lung specialist to have him fill in his part, sign it and fax it back to personnel, who will fax it to Human Resources Manager, who will have another look at what & where he can put me in the store, if it gets denied for a 2nd time then i have to take what ever job they offer me regardless of how it will affect my lungs, i guess wal-mart don't care if it causes me to end up in hospital again like it did once before. :angry:
