Good morning, Commies.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

*yawn* Good Mornin'.

Coffee in hand...syllabus on the desk...gotta start writing that bloody paper for class. Have a kitchen to clean up as well. Gotta find a way to motivate my munchkin to get her room cleaned up. Methinks timeout or even a long weekend grounding might do the trick. It's so hard to be 10 yrs old you know. :D

So all you Christians on here....answer me this: Why is it that Christians are some of the MOST unforgiving people on the face of this Earth? Why is it so freakin hard to forgive and move forward...and how can you profess to love God with unforgiveness in your heart towards someone?

I'm thinking this is one major reason why I've had such a hard time believing in anything...know what I mean jellybean?

Maybe they are not really true Christians. A true Christian is supposed to be a representitive of Christ. There are many who say they are a Christian, but in name only. Unless they have a relationship with the Almighty, I would say they are just going through the motions. And also to add, many are bitter and refuse to forgive, which is nothing more than pride. They need to confess this pride as sin, ask the Heavenly Father to help them in the area of forgiveness, because it is not for the other person we forgive, it is for ourselves.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

I often wonder that myself. And the only explanation I can come up with is they are not real Christians.

On another note, it is with great sadness that I say a former student of mine (graduated in 2007) died last night from alcohol poisoning. He was not yet 21. I am overwhelmed by sadness. Why, WHY do these kids not understand the fragility of life and the consequence of their actions?!

Sigh...kids in that age range think they are invincible. Some think there ARE no consequences. I'm so sorry to hear about your former student. One of my kids from years ago that I wondered if he would make anything of himself (this was Grade 5 and his only ambition in life was to do what daddy did - pick up dead chickens in a chicken house) greatly surprised me by becoming an electrician's apprentice...only to wind up dead at age 19 from a freak electrical accident. He was on his way to having a good career and was engaged to be married.

Sigh.

Seems I sigh a lot lately.

Hey commies *waves*

Well my back to work today didn't happen!

Because i've been gone more than 12 weeks, my regular job is no longer mine, they don't have any other positions within the store at this time....... no i tell a lie, they have 2 but, they are pending orientation for 2 new people. The personnel manager is waiting to hear back from the Human resources manager to see what they're going to do with me, she said that more than likely i'll have to wait at home for the next 30 days to see if a position at work comes available in the run-up to christmas.
