sister mocassin and others...

You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars

I've been living on the edge so long, where the winds of limbo roar

And I'm young enough to look at, and far too old to see

All the scars are on the inside

I'm not sure that there's anything left of me

You ask me why I'm weary, why I can't speak to you

You blame me for my silence, say it's time I changed and grew

But the war's still going on, dear, and there's nowhen that I know

And I can't stand forever

I can't say if we're ever gonna be free

You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars

My energy is spent at last, and my armor is destroyed

I have used up all my weapons, and I'm helpless and bereaved

Wounds are all I'm made of

Did I hear you say that this is victory?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thanks Comrade Len(in)!

Seems we all have crosses to bear, but we don't have to bear them alone, amen?

Dear Commies...

Just wanted to write to you and say sorry I haven't been around lately but as I told Len... I've been CRAZY busy with work and with life and such. Also, I am going through a bout of "I freaking hate everyone/everything/etc., etc... as we're still waiting for our interview and well... it's starting to suck. Reading all about the perfectly deserving people who got assigned a week or two after they finished is starting to break my heart and sometimes I find it best just not to read this board and such.

So... hope you all forgive me. I am a cranky biotch sometimes and lose my sense of humour and mirth and when I feel all hurty and stuff, even more so...

S'my story and i'm sticking to it...

Bishop, I was just reading this in 2 Cor:

6:1 Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says,

“In a favorable time I listened to you,

and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”

Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3 We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, 4 but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; 7 by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8 through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.

11 We have spoken freely to you, [1] Corinthians; our heart is wide open. 12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. 13 In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

(F) Hermana lgg (L) ...Romans 5:3 posted above is for you too...hang in there...your endurance and tears will pay off in happiness, without a doubt.

We need some good news postings here in C4C...just sayin'...rough times seem to be abundant lately...

Blessings, Bishop...

Yes Bishop, I agree. We are being attacked on all sides.
