Hiyaz comrades, iz had a busy morning, was on runaround mode, up early..doctors....pick up de prescriptions......go talk to personnel dept where i iz employed but on leave....back home pick up key to MIL's house (forgot teh damn key dis morning)...jumped back into zee car..went to post office to mail b-day card to meh sister.....went to MIL's to feed teh kittehs....back home....tired from drivin!! :jest:

I hadz the strange event at work today... :o

My boss called me into his office (I'm working on a big IT project)...he said, "Bishop, we want to make the the lead configurator...le blah blah...!" :dance::dancing::dancing:

Initially this good! :thumbs:

However...aka 'But/Butt'...

He then said, "This puts you in a new pay band (normally good!$!)...but later today our CEO is going to announce that ALL employees are going to have to take a 10% pay reduction starting immediately!" (our company has laid of a few thousand people, globally... :cry: )

He concluded by saying...."But, with your new responsibilities and reduced payscale, your pay will remain the same." :huh2:

So...in the end...I have more work for the same pay...this is NOT FTW! Overall though, I still count my blessings as my hours increase and my fingertips bleed... :goofy:
