hey, LGG, no, sister, uscis gods have not shown me their grace yet. still playing the waiting game. but i did get a "lovely" letter in the mail from da city gov'ment. stating i ran a red light. danged if i didn't, can't even protest  they have pictures of my car, my license plate, and the bright red light, that i could have sworn was pink at the time  dang, can't even protest, just gotta pay that automatic $100 donation to the cause.

Dude you can always fight it , no matter who is at fault. Will they give you points on your licesense??

Wow $100? Thats lucky. I got one two years ago and it cost me $510 for that ticket. I would NOT contest it in court. If you go down the police department, they should have a high resolution copy of the ticket. If you are dead to rights wrong in traffic case, I would seriously advise against contesting the ticket in court. The judge has at his discretion the ability to tack on additional fines and fees. Some judges will knock it down, some will add onto it, but most will do nothing and uphold the citation.

About 2 summers ago I was stopped for no reason and issued a ticket for speeding, which I did not speed. I wrote a 3 page letter to the judge telling him all that happened that day. I went to court, but didnt have to go before a judge. I was called into a room and questioned about the letter. The officer was asking me if I honestly expected him to read all 3 pages and I said yes, cos it is all the truth. He told me to go home. Case closed.

Not so smart. If you are the USC, wait for the ROC, and then just don't file. If you are the alien, wait to become a USC, then you can stay, no problemo! Three and out!

I want to desperately go to bed because my head is exploding, but I have to wait until hubby is home from his night class so someone can watch Declan (well, by then the kid should be asleep so hubby gots it good!).

I swear, my child SENSES I am icky and hurting .... he dumped a bowl of chili on his head which entailed me giving him a bath (not in the plan), then before I could put a diaper on him, he peed on the rug and laughed hysterically. I took pictures of the chili incident so I can laugh tomorrow because right now all I want is for someone to shoot me.

Any commies willing to volunteer to put me out of my misery?
