Wow.... did anyone even notice I was missing??? NOT as you've blabbled up to 100 pages worth! Holy ####### -- I don't even have time to catch myself up -- anyone want to Cliff notes it all for me?

FYI! had an AWESOME time with my boy in the US -- he rocks. it was busy and fun and I baked my butt off but good. sad to be back especially since it seems that Canada has totally stopped interviewing us for our Visas. I won't dwell on it but it's burst my happy little balloon.

How're you all? I missed the Commies...

Back at work tomorrow and I can barely contain my excitement.

:|

PS and by baked I meant I cooked a lot, like pies and cookies and stuff...

I had Poutine over the weekend

Unfortunately, we got it to go, and when I got home, the cheese was all melted in a big blob. Even worse, when I tried to salvage it, It knocked over and spilled gravy all over the carpet. I got to eat half of it though

Mmmmmmm... poutine! There was this place on Avenue du Pins, Mommas Pizza, that made the best poutine ever in Montreal I'd eat that right off the carpet and i'm not even kidding.

Well, I was a complete poutine neophyte. My wife told me all about it and it sounded kind of disgusting. Only reason I tried it was because she wore me down. I was hooked. I even liked the poutine at KFC. When we were in Montreal for our interview, we had to go to this place, I think it was called Schwartz's or something like that. Best smoked meat sammich ever!! Poutine was great too. Sadly, you can't find cheese curds anywhere here in L.A. :(

You're right, it's the cheesecurds that make or break it -- shredded cheese ain't right! IT'll do but but it ain't right.

:D

It's so good and yes, Schwartz's deli, the latkes are awesome there too.

Mmmmmmmm.....

Food Porn!!

Yeah, but you didn't share with your hungry fellow Commies. Can you make a pecan pie or a sweet potato pie??

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Nagi...

I am the pie queen! Apple, cherry, blueberry, quiches, peach -- you name it... never made a sweet potato but I'd love to give that a shot.

I also love quiche a whole lot!

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
