I have applied for a k-1 visa for my fiance in Cairo Egypt. It has now been sent to the embassy and supposedly packet 3 was sent to him on Aug. 12th. He still doesn't have it and we are getting worried. I emailed the embassy and they just confirmed again that it was mailed on that date. They didn't give me a tracking number though. Can he just go ahead and gather the forms needed and mail them in or does he need to wait for packet 3?

It went DHL though - shouldn't that be reliable?

DHL left a package I had sent to my fiance at a neighbour's house a few doors down whom he had never met till later when he went to go pick it up. In anycase, if that happened, you should have received the 'We missed you' note saying they dropped by.

Can't you call the embassy again to get the tracking number?

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

I know this is a bit late, but just wanted to let you know you're not the only ones who the embassies have told they sent the Packets 3 to. It happened to us and when I repeatadly emailed the Embassy about it, they finally sent me the DS-230, the Applicants Statement and a Copy of the Cover letter as an email attachment (which coincidently the 'cover letter'was dated the same day this particular email was sent and NOT the date they said they had sent the original, and 'if' it were a 'copy', then it should have been.). Something doesn't smell right (as in F-I-S-H-Y) with all these embassies saying they sent the packet 3 and it being a no show.

Anyway, I'm sure you already know by now that the Packet 3 and Packet 4 both can be downloaded with instructions from any of the US Embassy's websites.
